And in other depressing news, we delivered Wife's car to the shop this morning. Brakes making noise. This is likely to be expensive. We want to get another few years out of that one, a 1997 model. Then we become a one-car household.
ADDENDUM: Yep, four wheel brake job -- disks, pads, the whole catastrophe (to misquote Zorba.) Thus do we pay twice for all that winter road-sand and salt.
