According to weather radar, we should be getting a small patch of rain. Confucius say, "Pavement still dry, weather radar speak with forked tongue."
And beyond that, nothing. As I said in an earlier post, we could use some rain. All those beetle-grub bare patches are turning dusty -- it's amazing how loose the soil gets when something eats all the roots out of it.
Oh, well. There's hockey to watch this afternoon.

Date: 2008-05-17 08:05 pm (UTC)Let's say someone (oh, say, me) was reading Dragon's Teeth. And Daniel Morgan had just gone diving and figured out that the stuff that happened in the last book was not entirely over... not yet. (Page 97 of the trade paperback.)
And only now did I - uh, I mean, "someone" - realize that "duh, this is a *SEQUEL*."
(Yes, I can be *very* thick sometimes. But you did very good exposition in the beginning, and I was reading it on a boring train ride.)
How much will, uh, he hate himself if he doesn't get Dragon's Eye and read it first?
(And in any event, do you have a salable copy of Dragon's Eye you want to sell? I don't think I have a copy. I'm sure I can find it at Amazon, but anything I can do to maximize an author's profits is good for me.)
