Cat punting

Collarless Cat* charged across the street to greet me this morning, both ways on my newspaper walk.  I violated cat-etiquette the second time, by stopping to pet and scritch and then moving on without watching my feet.  One punted cat.  I stopped again and smoothed fur.  I think he forgave me.

*So named because he used to wear a collar but does not currently.  I don't know his people-name or True Name.
