Not snowing either.  In fact, actual sunshine, here and there and now and then.

If we manage to reach the upper 40s F, I may go for a bike ride.  Give my ancient bones reason to ache.

We had an almost-goldfinch this morning.  Mostly yellow and black, with just a spotting of drab winter feathers.  I guess he thinks spring has sprung.  And a dawn chorus of robins and cardinals and doves celebrating avian sex.

Although I have to allow the possibility that all that noise came from one mockingbird.

Wintry mix here today, and a dusting of snow on the ground when we got up. The messy weather here was supposed to be yesterday, but Twin A seems to have held it at bay through sheer power of will, because yesterday was the EMT-Basics' all-day hands-on outdoor class in Extrication, aka the fine art of getting patients out of wrecked cars. Doing it in foul weather would have been, as Himself pointed out, nothing if not accurate; but Twin A was having none of that.

I've decided that I'll skip that ride. Still feel chilly, and I'm inside the house...

I think I saw one on a wire last weekend. None heard yet.
