Gray again.  Light rain earlier, but dry roof and pavement now.  Supposed to even clear off later.

More rain forecast for the weekend.

Word yesterday that another downtown renovation project will proceed, in the face of prevailing economic gloom.  "The check is in the mail."  Checks, even hypothetical checks, are good.

Our prediction was for snow in the higher elevations and north country only. We'll see where that places our humble hovel.
