Sort of a day

Still feeling out of sorts, but not getting worse and not as bad as when I griped before. Just not ... well.

Cleaned and sorted and stashed some of the workshop this afternoon, finding a cache of old V-8 Juice cans (empty) that we obviously had reserved for some Project back in the long-ago. But what? Squirrel guards on bird-feeders, maybe? They are the big cans. Anyway, the trash-man will have another bag to heave next Friday.

But I can see the floor now, large areas that had been hidden for years. Of course, if I clear enough space, I'll have to start a Project. Probably need to collect some tin cans....

That had occured to me. I remember something involving the Cub Scouts along those lines -- run a rope loop through holes in the cans, long enough so a kid could reach it with his hand, pull up, keep the can under foot. Or those cans may have been fated to be turned into Boy Scout stoves with the judicious application of tin snips. Who knows? Ancient history.
