Allegedly, only a couple of inches will appear in our immediate neighborhood.  May be as much as half a foot south of us, in Younger Son's territory.  We shall see what we shall see.

Meanwhile, Wife is tensing up into her pre-Garden-Show funk, the weekend in which her normally tranquil nature center job descends into the lower rings of Hell.  And this year she can't drive, or haul boxes of stuff.  Still with the shoulder troubles.

Guess who got volunteered?

We've got a snow advisory here for the day, and it's *almost* cold enough for it. I'm thinking I really should have brought my camera--snow falling amongst the delicate pink cherry blossoms would be a really gorgeous photo.

At this point, we can only wish for cherry blossoms. Spotted one solitary purple crocus blooming in our side yard, huddled tight against the foundation where we never planted it.
