Sunshine?

Scattered icy patches this morning, mostly where yesterday's rain seeps out from under tenured snowbanks.  I wore the Bean boots with YakTrax for the newspaper walk, but probably didn't need them.  Except here and there...

We will wait for the sun to work its magic on windshields and roads before attempting the normal Monday chores on Tuesday.

Didn't contribute to The Great Backyard Bird Count this year, in spite of coming nose-to-beak with some pine grosbeaks chowing down on ornamental crab apples.  When Wife attempted to access the website, it kept timing out.  Either they had a server problem or the traffic drowned them.

I'm having the same problem with Google Groups this morning.  Maybe it's something in the air.

Our internet totally pooched late last night - somewhere in the hour of midnight. I think it came back before 0100, but I tucked myself in bed. Seemed okay this morning.

This problem seems specific to Google Groups -- Live Journal comes through at its usual pace. Likewise the weekend problem with the birdcount site seemed limited to them.
