According to Wife, who is in charge of such things, we have reached the low point in our annual statistic array of average low temperatures.  From now on, we get warmer.

(Averages, of course, have little connection to what we actually see.  For example, we're supposed to go sub-zero again tonight.)

February is typically the coldest month here in Texas. I guess it makes sense that it would shift earlier as you go north.
