you can do that in Scotland too - in fact one morning before Xmas it was only the inside of my car that was frosted up.

I had to do that on Wednesday after our snowstorm here in SE Michigan. Always fun. Someone would create a scraper for just such an eventuality, dealing with the different curvature. :-)

I find a small rubber squeegee works fairly well.

And that's why you would survive the apocalypse and archaeologists would find me with a broken snow scraper in the fossilized hulk of my vehicle. :-)
