Cars now scraped clear of ice, filled up, and driven a bit including Interstate, to warm up and charge up. Part of life in the Frozen North, we hate to let the gas tanks get below half full -- a full tank cuts down on condensed moisture in the fuel lines, I.E. ice, and you never know when you might need that extra gallon or three to make it through a storm alive.
And, contrary to apparent common opinion, it doesn't cost more to keep your tank full. Sorta like you don't use more toothpaste if you keep an extra tube in the cupboard.
