jhetleyThere must be something to that Darwinian "survival of the fittest" thing. I encountered some people driving slower than the speed limit on those snow-and-slush-covered roads. And saw no vehicles in the ditch or back in the trees.
Got out to the city forest for another ski run. Fresh snow just enough to cover the crusty stuff from the previous storm. Again very little sign of wildlife -- probably relates to the number of people who let their dogs run loose while the human skis or snowshoes. Did hear some goldfinches and chickadees, and saw a raven.
4 miles, 57 minutes.
