Decent skiing

jhetleyGot out to the City Forest for my deasil run (Wednesday was widdershins) around the loop. Fresh snow, moderately cold, so the glide wasn't the best. Only wildlife in evidence was a nuthatch heard.
Came up behind a couple on the trail using mountaineering skis, cable bindings and all. Been years since I saw a pair of those. Much slower on prepared trails (that's why I could catch and pass them...), but I assume they were training for Something Serious.
