You know that ever-popular place "where the sun don't shine?"  Where you tell unpleasant people to stuff this or that annoyance, without benefit of lubricant?  Maine.

Cloudy yesterday, temperature inversion kept the stuff from burning off.  More cloudy this morning.  Weekend looks like a coastal storm, far enough offshore that it will bother Barnstead more than us, but more clouds.  And high temperatures barely exceeding 40 F.

Well, you know how it is. We're having your summer for our winter right now. 81 F for a high, 65 F at night for a pleasant sleeping clime, and wispy white clouds drifting acrost a sky of Robin's egg blue.

Feel free to get revenge next summer when we've been over a hundred every day for a month by telling me your high temperature, just to be fair.

Actually, since I posted that lament we have spotted actual wan sunshine with genuine shadows.
