First pillage, *then* burn

We ran out of candy before 7:00, starting with a couple of toddlers* at about 4:00.  That is 250 small packages of candy corn.  Many of the kidlets were too small to handle our front steps safely, had to be helped by parental (or otherwise) adult units.  This madness must cease.

*For those in audience who find meaning in this, the first customers were escorted by Zeus and associated female.  No idea why they ended up on our street.

Despite being 'in town' we got no requests for candy.

So we still have 4 bags hanging out.

Ah well, I'm sure they'll get eaten. ;)

They ended up on your street because they had to start at 4ish, and didn't want to go the mall route. Your street has developed a reputation for being a good place for it, so they hoped there would be enough people ready to receive visitors that early. Plus, their current neighborhood is one of those without sidewalks, so they had to go somewhere else anyway.

We are considering a move -- maybe EMMC will buy the place for a parking lot?
