oh, but if their IQ is technically within the "normal" range, they're just "stupid" not "disabled", and fair game.

Especially when they're trying to pretend to be brighter than they are.

(Excuse for mild mini-rant...)

IQ doesn't have any connection with many forms of disability, even mental disabilities like dyslexia. My "note" is only half a jest -- a fair amount of Shrub's mangling does look like language disability rather than stupidity.

He has said in the past that he deliberately ignores the speeches written for him in favor of saying what he wants to say, so he could easily avoid the mocking if he'd look at his notes once in a blue moon. I think it's a measure of how arrogant he is. If he does have a learning disability he might consider working around it in order to avoid coming off as a complete idiot, what with being the representative of the American people and the supposed leader of the free world.
