Another oddity of the suburban deer

This particular set doesn't seem to have learned the crepuscular thing.  Yes, we saw them in the gathering gloom of evening, but now buck* and fawn are in the backyard at 11:25 AM.

*Asymmetrical 6-point antlers, 4 and 6.  Not a good trophy head.

I think I must've been camping up in your part of the state this past weekend.. husband, kids and I saw a buck much like you describe with the asymmetrical antler thing going for him.. how odd! We were at a campground near Ellington or something like that.. and gawd, talk about downpours, what a time to go camping eh?
