Whatever we had planned for entertainment, squished.

Do you know a place on-line where I can get a free floor plan for a typical New Englander home?

Afraid I don't. And maybe you need to define "typical" as applied to a New England home...

This and this are both listed as typical New Englander houses.

Where's the mansard? The gingerbread? The flaking lead-based paint . . .

Got me on the Mansard. There's some gingerbread on the white house's entrances. The flaking lead-based paint is in NM.

So New Englander isn't considered an architectural style?

Not when and where I took all those architectural history courses. Closest cousin would be "Federal Style."
