Ah, yes. Silly season.
The Maine State Legislature, in their august majesty, are considering the extension of sales tax to professional services. Again. I have just finished sending my reasoned and erudite comments, shorn of any unseemly language, to our senator and representative, pointing out that 5% of my gross receipts of the Day Job would not pay for the damned state bureaucracy to process the damned paperwork.
Bugger 'em. Literally.
The proposal would also extend to services Wife provides out at the Nature Center, guiding field trips and giving classes and such. Again, a royal hassle for little net.
