Sunday no-roadkill report

Not actually raining, not actually freezing (50 F), so I geared up (including polar fleece vest) and headed across to the airport on my bike.  Ran into some mist on the way back, but as that was over the highest point in town, it could have been the bottom edge of the clouds...

Saw a great blue heron flying out at the airport, no sign of transponder.  Must have been under the radar or something.  Those birds look rather improbable in the air, sort of rowing across the sky.
