If that's genuine, the man has a problem.  Not geocentric so much as egocentric to the point where he thinks the universe rotates around his own asshole.

I'm going to assume for now that it's a masterful exercise in the tradition of Jonathan Swift. I realize it could be absolutely sincere, and if it is I can only feel sorrow for the author.

I'd _like_ to think parody. I know several people who could pull it off. Problem is, I _also_ have met people who would swallow it straight.

It's been discussed elsewhere (on james_nicoll's journal) and the consensus seems to be that, yes, the guy is absolutely serious and truly believes every word.


Also, that he's completely barking mad.
