May. 5th, 2007 10:27 amTook the "marble mouse" (AKA trackball) back to Staples, got a smile and a couple of minutes of register-fiddling, and the thing is returned. No questions asked. I told the "associate" that I just couldn't work with it. Much easier return policy than I expected, and a company sales slogan that actually seems to apply.
Then I went over to Best Buy and got what I wanted in the first place, a TrackMan Wheel just like the one I use with the laptop. I'd bought _that_ at Staples and figured that if they didn't have it now, Logitech had discontinued the model. After all, every time I find something I like, They discontinue it...
I'm going to have to mow the damned lawn today. Maine needs a longer break between snowblower and lawnmower seasons.
