Further casualties of the storm

Appears that our northeaster of last week killed the two eaglets on that nest-cam site.

That, as they say, is life. Or otherwise.

A lot of people don't stop to think that Weather is rough on the whole ecosystem. Our storm may have wiped out the entire breeding season for some species in this area -- eagles, for example, rarely try a second nesting. Smaller, later species might.
