Snowing and Gnurrs

Predictions are for 6"+/- overnight and into tomorrow, more in the hill country, just what we need for the kiddies and the Easter Bunny. As Wife puts it, swap out the rabbit, bring in the snowshoe hare.

And it's that time of the year again, Woodwork Project Time. Not projects involving woodwork, but projects coming out of the woodwork. Like gnurrs*, I guess. But anyway, the season when people wake up and smell the construction projects and want design work _now_. "If I wanted it tomorrow, I'd have asked for it tomorrow." You know. A variant of spring fever.

Got a call from a bridal boutique guy this afternoon, Code Enforcement suggested they'd really like to see an architect on this remodel project that is already under construction. ADA (handicap access) compliance and all that sort of good stuff. So I meet with him Friday, and maybe get something done next week. He only wants to move into the new space on May Day.

Bah! The stories, like Papa Schimmelhorn himself, are forever young.

I'd like to run an ad, say in a SF magazine or something, offering a used gnurrpfife and several pairs of cutoff shorts.
