Hajj update
Apr. 3rd, 2007 03:46 pmWell, FedEx tracking put the box in town and on the delivery truck this morning. However, being a natural-born pain-in-the-ass, I have asked their website to email me on "exceptions". Which they did.
"FedEx attempted, but was unable to complete delivery of the following shipment:"
And under "Reason Delivery Not Completed"
"1. No attempt made, delivery scheduled for next business day."
Hey, we didn't get _that_ much snow. And I took enough logic in college to suspect some kind of conflict between those two quoted statements. Good thing I didn't need those books for a reading at the local library or something.
More public ridicule. I have noticed FedEx trucks marked FedEx Express. Redundant much?
Thus do I waste your bandwidth, O LiveJournal Friends.

Date: 2007-04-04 12:34 pm (UTC)Got another "exception" email after I posted that, in which they pled "local weather" -- we had a grand total of about 3" of snow, and live about four miles from their terminal. If that stops FedEx, they must be prepared to shut down for six months at a stretch...
