So much for minor technological triumphs. Now the Mac won't print to the laser printer. It worked fine before installing that inkjet driver.

The laser still shows up in the printer menu. Programs _say_ that they are printing. But nothing ever happens.

If anybody out there understands HP printers, HP drivers, and Macs, I'd appreciate a suggestion. I'd rather have the laser working than the inkjet, dammit!

Oh, I have tried _several_ things. Including the classic "turn everything off and then start up again." I finally uninstalled the inkjet/scanner stuff using the HP uninstaller, downloaded new LaserJet drivers, installed them, found out _that_ didn't help, and then ran a Mac utility called "repair permissions" on the system.

Now I have a working laser printer again, and wonder if I dare try to reinstall the all-in-one. Maybe if I do that "repair permissions" afterward...

I hate computers.
