No walk tonight

Have finished a mid-term snow removal, complete with packed plow-berm at the end of the driveway. Will have to do the whole thing over, but I prefer to take bites rather than try to swallow the whole elephant at once.

My toes may forgive me some day. We may be getting sleet, but the windchill is below zero out there. Blech.

Twin A and Twin B are also engaged in mid-term snow removal -- Himself is on call with the ambulance squad tonight, so the ability to get down the driveway is a must -- and Twin B, at least, has come inside once already to wax eloquent about the end-of-driveway ridge. Somehow the fact that the snowplow had come through twice again while he was shovelling struck him as adding insult to injury.

Himself and all the other emergency service people have my sincere gratitude and admiration for facing this crap.

Our snowplows have also been by a couple more times, of course.
