(No, not the computer. Still dithering. In fact, got a couple of more options added to the stew...)

Need to get out this afternoon, subzero windchills or no. Get a box of fancy chocolate for Wife, who will not be surprised even if she doesn't read this. If I get it now and present it this evening, I get the Chocolate Points without contributing directly to capitalist manipulation -- IE "Valentine's Day" hype.

Usual Friday visit to the Pigeon Loft this morning. Some of those apartments are going to be Escher-esque -- walls go off at odd angles, as previously noted, floors and ceilings still slope thataway, and some exposed roof trusses are not parallel to _anything._ This becomes more obvious as sheetrock goes on. Just don't count on fitting your bed or table neatly into a corner...

Was thinking more that it was that she could have lots more chocolate because you were patient and were saving the money for the computer replacement cost.
