Some number of degrees below zero (F) this morning -- Wife suggested that we should go out and pry that red stuff out of the bottom of the thermometer. A crowbar was mentioned.

Jet stream is south of us and looks to remain there for a while. Storms likewise, so I don't get that replacement snow I requested. I'll see you folks when molecular motion resumes...

No action on the computer front. Although I mentioned dollar figures to Wife yesterday, and she remained upright. I noticed a certain tightening of jaw muscles, though. After forty years of reading a face, you learn to spot these things.

You know, it hit 72 F here in Dallas this afternoon, and you're definitely welcome to come down here and breathe some oxygen that hasn't crystallized into big slabs on the back porch.

We have not yet reached the plateau of wealth necessary for us to relocate to warmer climes for the winter. Neighbor across the street waves bye-bye in the week after Christmas and reappears after Easter. Some place in Florida, I believe...
