Depending on whether you believe our thermometers or Excite's little side-bar thingy, we are about 0 F or 10 F this morning, compared to the twenties yesterday. Wind has not yet kicked up, prophesied for later. I will attempt another ski run before Momma Nature turns into a stone-cold bitch.

And on the writing front, Old Guy just received an anonymous envelope containing one tail feather from a hen pheasant. This is a problem. Also a literary reference, for Those In The Know.

The wind picked up last night here. This morning it's 1F/-18C but the wind chill is making it feeling -22F/-30C. I decided I really didn't need to pick up any groceries. Who needs milk?
