Friday floral report

A few lupine spikes showing color outside of town, Canada mayflower hanging on to the end of May, wild blueberries blooming. White calla in a culvert pool in the bog and a few rhodora are still blooming. I think I've missed both the trillium and the moccasin-flower, even though the blooms may still be out there. Undergrowth of ferns, etc, interfere with bicycle botany. And we have a lot of bush honeysuckle, white and yellow and pink. Some may even be native.
Approximately a dozen geese near the cemetery pond when I rode past there on my way out, none visible when I came back. Maybe-roadkill of a chipmunk or red squirrel. Or maybe a slice of pizza. Which tells you the condition.
Got out on the bike, first full loop of the year. Construction not started yet, although the street graffiti proliferates. Did not die.
