Maine utilities had over 13,000 power outages this afternoon. This is just wind-related, no snow or ice or flooding.

Yikes.
Here in central Illinois, the wind has developed an odd habit of forming into narrow blast walls ahead of a storm. This tends to snap off trees at the base because they don't have time to bend with it. Very frustrating.
