Buncha flakes

Light snow this morning, temperature around 35F. We're supposed to get maybe an inch of the stuff. Maybe. First measurable snowfall of the season, here.

Which is not enough to disturb the cross-country skis from their over-summer rest.

Mostly just gray and gloomy. Do you notice a theme here?

Ja! We had them too in Beantown. I was a bit worried about it only because I had knee surgery today and thought I'd have to hassle about the snow with crutches. But, the snow vanished, I don't have crutches and now the sun's out.

I think we are going to pay dearly for all this nice weather. Not that I'm a pessimist! Nope. nope.

After it stopped snowing (I was in Orono at the time), the sun came out and all was exceptionally pretty. At least for a little while. :)
