Fall foliage report

Not much to report. Probably less than 5% color (colour) so far, mostly ash and red maples with a few precocious sugar maples. Beautiful day, blue sky with a few clouds and rather a bit more wind than a bicyclist really appreciates. Very few cute things at the nature center -- one chipmunk and a few goldfinches that have changed into winter drab. Three dead skunks.
