Obvious solution

For maybe the zillionth time, we have news about another murder splashed around the local media. A "domestic", offspring of one of the warring partners, this time.

Somewhere in excess of 50% of all homicides in Maine are "domestics". I believe this statistic is normal for the nation.

We've _got_ to outlaw those domestic partnerships. Don't care if folks are legally wedded or living in sin, don't care if the "relationship" is monogamous, polygamous, heterosexual, bisexual, or homosexual. This carnage must _stop_.

Ban all relationships. Save the partner, save the world.

At which point (stew, chili, roast, steaks, sausage...) they are no longer a menace. The only good moose is a dead moose?

You're right, but you're not going far enough. Do you have any idea how many homicides are committed by people? 100%, if you'll believe it. And it's not just homicide; most other crimes are committed by people as well.

I think the solution is clear. People have got to be banned. Or at least have some sort of warning label affixed.
