I just got a couple of boxes (left on the back steps in a soaking gale...) of books, trade paperback of DRAGON'S TEETH and mass-market of DRAGON'S EYE. If any of you nice folks want to order a personally-inscribed copy direct from the Critically Acclaimed Author, this is your chance.

Anyway, the dining room table is now covered in stacks of books, which seem to have escaped The Wet. The boxes, on the other hand, languish in my workshop until they dry out and can reclaim their contents...

Apparently my timing is atrocious; I finally despaired of finding DRAGON'S TEETH in stock anywhere and asked my Local Independent Bookstore to order a copy for me.
Oh, well. Supporting the Local Independent Bookstore is an important thing to do, and giving them a clue that they've got customers who like that Hetley character is probably a worthy endeavor.

I _think_ (everything in publishing is a Deep Dark Secret, and authors are not granted security clearance, not having Need To Know...) that actual bookstore orders are better for me.

Having gotten hold of several of your books from the Merrimack library, I think I can safely say cymrullewes and I would greatly appreciate a set. And I think I need to procure my own copies of The Summer Country and The Winter Oak at some point when there's a little more spending money available, too.

I think that cymrullewes made some noise about you guys getting up this way, perhaps after Thanksgiving? Or maybe I misremember...

I have copies of all the editions of all the books, available through the US mail. However, actual bookstore sales count more toward getting _further_ books published.

I know there's various trips we have planned for "sometime when we get to it", including a trip up to Halifax to see Pernicious and Barnstead.
