jhetleyGeese absent when I headed out past the cemetery pond, maybe three dozen when I came back. All on the water, on the far side of the pond, so that's just a guess.
Dead porcupine on the other side of the road, this side of the bog. Couple of unwise chipmunks flattened. Some other blotches unidentified.
Chicory continuing to bloom, smartweed, so also various asters, the goldenrod, and the damned illegal alien purple loosestrife and Japanese knotweed.
Temperature got up above 60 F, little wind, biked upriver and inland and back. Did not die.
