jhetleyTime for my twice-yearly rant on fiddling with God's Own Time. Spring ahead, fall back, all that crap. Which means that tomorrow, sunset will hit us before 5:00 PM. Maine belongs on Atlantic Time, along with New Brunswick and that mythical land of Nova Scotia. No, we shouldn't be in the same time zone as frigging Detroit. Daylight Savings Time just makes the clocks a closer match to the sun.
Meanwhile, 'tain't fit night out for man nor beast. Winds still gusting up over 40 mph (one of the capes logged over 70) with copious rain -- like 3" measured in some areas. Don't know about the flooding status.
Just finished resetting all the clocks. Which means we will lose power tonight, and I will waken to blinking displays all around. Three of our six TV stations are off the air...
