jhetleyFirst blue cornflower/chicory, queen Anne's lace, blooms on the milkweed, nightshade, probable purple loosestrife, possible yellow loosestrife (which isn't an alien, unlike its cousin.)
C-5 out at the airport/base, plus Blackhawks fluttering around. And some bird-brain has been adding sticks to the tops of the lighting pylons again. Our best guess is a misguided osprey.
Got out on the bike, across town and over and back, because the weekend weather looks questionable. Did not die.
