Return of winter

Air temperature 22 F, wind northwest gusting over 30 mph, partly cloudy. We are down to bare grass in much of the park, due to snowfall lagging 20" behind normal statistics. As if normal has any meaning beyond a setting on the laundry machines. May have all my tax filing paperwork in hand.
