Wife and I just removed several dozen apples from the tree out front. Most of them worthless, due to damage or obvious insects. We'll let the maybe "keepers" meditate in the garage for a bit. But that was way more production than a dwarf tree can carry through a storm. Just like the thousand plus/minus crabapples in the tree in the back. Wasted effort.
