Wednesday fungal report

jhetleyWet weather has mushrooms popping up all over. Some look like common meadow mushrooms, edible, but I see jack-o-lanterns and Amanitas, so you take your chances. We forage our mushrooms at the supermarket.
No roadkill. Potential roadkill, deer ambling across the road in front of me in a 45 mph road, no place to take your time.
No odd metal birds at the airport. KC 135 taking off as I rolled up to my water stop, and two SAS airliners parked on the apron. Maybe diverted? They don't service our site.
Got out earlier than usual due to heat -- 74 F when I left, 84 now, with dew point 69. Sticky icky. Did not push, did not die.
