jhetleyCornflower/chicory blooming, brown-eyed Susans, water parsnip, and I may have seen a half-opened water lily in the cemetery pond.
Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels, a probable crow, and another of those maybe chipmunk/maybe red squirrel red-fur blotches. Not-roadkill, two turkey vultures circling and looking for a thermal. And not finding one on this gray damp day.
Got out on the bike, mist and a few drops of rain, but I didn't get drenched. Rain started about 15 minutes after I got home. Raining now. Did not die. Ride takes me over 300 miles for the year, at least 100 miles behind where I would like to be. I'm blaming the weather, because it can't be age . . .
