Well, Louie-cat came out to me today, but after a bit of petting and scritching he climbed his front porch stairs and looked rather pointedly from the doorknob to me. I told him I don't do doors. I have had similar pointed requests in the past regarding empty food dishes, for which I also am a total waste of time.
