As usual, I will be voting against candidates rather than for. We are ruled by mediocrities in lieu of rule by worse . . .

On Monday, I had the option of candidates to actively vote for, as well as to vote against. It was a joy to have that option available to me so I used it. None of the three I voted for were mediocrities, and one of those three actually won the seat she ran for.

I suppose an upside to Ranked Choice Voting is that you can vote against multiple candidates?

(I early-voted last Saturday. Three of the eleven races had only one candidate - the Democratic incumbent - running.)
