Some sort of gathering non-funeral at the cemetery, so no geese on the pond. Flock of turkeys up at my crossover road, maybe a dozen, getting harder to tell the adults from the youngsters. Only roadkill ID'd was a yellow-rump warbler on the paved shoulder on an uphill where I couldn't miss it.
Red maples in the bog have mostly dropped their leaves. Some of the tamaracks getting the earliest yellow tinge to their needles. Upland maples, birches, and ash trees turning, and the Virginia creeper going purple.
Got out on the bike, air temperature 55 F so I added my long-sleeved shirt over the rest of my gear. Did not die. We'll see if I get any more rides in this year.
