jhetleyPavement in place on that culvert replacement stretch. Still flaggers and alternating traffic as they work on the shoulders and get guardrails in place.
Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels and skeletal porcupines that I've listed before. Not-roadkill, flock of wild turkeys on both sides of the road, at least two adults and a dozen or so teenagers.
Biked upriver and across and back through the bog, first time on this route in over a month due to construction. More asters, including large pale purples, chicory, goldenrod, etc. Cattails starting to fluff. Did not die.
