Dear Scammers:

To whom it may concern:

I don't actually have a PayPal account or an EBay account. That makes discovering your nefarious machinations and forgeries rather simple.

me neither - or a bank account with various banks, never mind an online account.

I don't have accounts at Chase Manhattan, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual or any of the other banks that pretend to insist that my account information has been compromised, either. (In fact, I'm happier than ever to do my banking with a small, well-established credit union that's so local the scammers evidently haven't heard of it. So far, anyway...)

I do have an inactive PayPal account. I forward messages purporting to be from PayPal to spoof@paypal.com.

So far, one has turned out to be real.

I get an email just about every day about my Chase Bank account. Which I don't have.
