Sunday roadkill/floral report

jhetleyDead porcupine on the center line about 6 miles into my ride, skunk similarly positioned about a mile further on, both relatively fresh. Skunk not particularly odorous, which sometimes happens.
Definite asters, including one clump of the small purples. Also some knapweed with its weird flowers, and a lot of goldenrod and tansy.
Rode a bit further downriver but not an extended outing, temperature 84 F when I got home. Did not die. Ride takes me over 800 miles for the year.
