Lot of brown-eyed Susans on the bike route, maybe blooming late because of the drought. Roadkill limited to one chipmunk, which is a bit unusual because a couple of the roads are long-time corpse alleys. C-17 out at the airport, plus cargo 747. Couldn't tell if the latter was loading or unloading, and couldn't read the logo at my angle.

Slathered on sunscreen and rode downriver, inland, and home, still warm and sticky but did not die of heat stroke.
